RuiD was born in 1985 in Ulyanovsk, Russia. After his EP LoveBOX was released on Bypass #022, RuiD returns to Bypass with a new remix album titled Remixes — a four-track collection featuring reinterpretations of tracks by Otzim Lee (Mom), ZhangJW (A3), Slava Join (Angel A), and Olympic Smoker (Instant Happyness).
The album explores Progressive House and Tech House aesthetics.
RuiD began his musical journey at the age of 10, initially drawn to Pumping House, House, and Trance. In 2003, he launched his own radio show, Rodeo, on a local radio station. Two years later, he became the president of a nightclub called Arbat.
After a year, RuiD stepped away from DJing, stating: “To become a famous DJ, you need to play mainstream music — I can’t do that.” Since 2006, he has focused entirely on developing his own creative direction. RuiD describes his approach as experimental, noting: “I don’t work within a particular style; I experiment over and over.”
This mindset led to several releases, including Kanzas on Pozitron Records and City EP on Prakteek Sound in 2009. He is currently planning the release of a full-length album on CD.
